ESPLANADE IN 2004/2005...
The Esplanade Art and Heritage Centre
The Esplanade will be a major focal point for the cultural life
of the city. It will be home to the Medicine Hat Museum, Art Gallery and Archives
and a new performing arts center and will offer a wide range of programs, services
and activities. The vision for this community project is a facility that will
be an important place for community events, a destination for visitors and a
place where residents will be proud to take friends. Scheduled to open in August
2005, this center will be located downtown, across from the Public Library,

today presented the exhibition design concept for the new Canadian War Museum.
"It is
with great pride, that I am presenting to you the exhibition design concept
for the new Canadian War Museum. The exhibitions will tell the story of Canada
and its people and how they have been affected and shaped by military events
and activities at home and abroad", stated Mr. Geurts.
Permanent exhibitions
in the new CWM have been divided into four chronological zones, from earliest
times to the most recent military operations. A fifth zone, the Royal Canadian
Legion Hall of Honour, chronicles the importance of honouring in the Canadian

TORONTO -- Perhaps Conan O'Brien should stick to delivering punch lines, not
punches.The late night talk show host apparently is sporting a small welt on
his face these days after being involved in a recent skit with Maple Leafs pugilist
Tie Domi.Just call it a souvenir from the Great White North.
"He's got a little
scrape above his eye," laughed Domi, who dropped the gloves with O'Brien
as part of the segment. "I left a little mark for him." Added Domi
mischievously: "We had a few scuffles."
Maybe O'Brien, a Boston
native, should not have admitted being a Bruins fan to Domi.The light-hearted
antics involving O'Brien, Domi and Leafs goaltender Trevor Kidd were taped last
week at Lakeshore Lions Arena and will air next week. The Toronto-based episodes
of Late Night with Conan O'Brien will broadcast Feb. 10-13 at 12:35 a.m. on
NBC and The New Vr and the following day at 10 p.m. on Star!
Domi gives O'Brien credit
for lacing up the blades, although Mats Sundin should not feel threatened about
losing his job. "His strengths out there? Well, he tries real hard,"
Domi said yesterday. "But I do think he needs a little more practice. "He's
a tall lanky guy. I just told him he needs to eat a few more potatoes and put
on some beef."
As a hockey player, O'Brien
is a great comedian, Domi said. "He's definitely a natural. I just think
he's hilarious. People will get some good laughs I'm sure. "Actually I
invited him down to one of our games even though he's a Bruins fan."

BUILDING EXPANSION IN TORONTO
Extensive growth of the construction division of Set Solutions has created a
need for Performance Solutions/Set Solutions to expand their facility to include
an l0,000 square foot building extension to allow for assembly of numerous set
construction projects at one time.
This new building extension
will allow Performance Solutions/Set Solutions to better service both their
customers and suppliers.
